A Simple Marker-Assisted 3D Nanometer Drift Correction Method for Super-Resolution Microscopy

A new method published in Biophysical Journal tackles one of the most pervasive issues in super-resolution microscopy – 3D drift correction. The z-position of fiducial markers is jointly determined by spot width without the need for additional optics or imaging multiple planes.
