Cartilage Tissue Engineering by the 3D Bioprinting of iPS Cells in a Nanocellulose/Alginate Bioink

New open access research in Scientific Reports demonstrates 3D bioprinting of cartilage tissue using induced pluripotent stem cells. Applications include treatment of cartilage lesions, which can progress into secondary osteoarthritis. Imaging was performed in part with a Nikon C2 confocal system.
