High-Throughput, Image-Based Screening of Pooled Genetic-Variant Libraries

New high-throughput screening method utilizes FISH-based fluorescent barcoding to allow determination of genotype from phenotype of individuals in a pooled library of genetic variants.

This method is used to identify an improved version of the fluorescent protein YFAST from over 60,000 variants. Custom high-throughput system configured on a Nikon Ti-U inverted microscope.
